My hatred of yard work is a primary reason I chose to buy a condo. Spending my free time in hot humid Florida mowing the lawn is not my idea of fun. If I had a home I’d look in to getting xerioscaping. However many HOA’s require grass and even specify the type of grass you have to have. Usually St. Augustine.

We haven’t had rain in over two weeks. Our grass hasn’t grown, more like dried up in spots due to the hot over 90° heat.
