I just finished watching ESPN’s “30 for 30” documentary “The Luckiest guy in the World” about him. Walton was such a fascinating individual. Ultra-competitive, but so gracious when the competition was done. Dealing with all of his medical issues and keeping (almost always) such a positive outlook. An excellent example for all.
I was lucky enough to get his autograph in 1986; he was kind and gracious to this (then) 22 year old. Wish I still had that signature…
