What anti-smoking legislation did he sign? None. He signed legislation to control tobacco marketing. DIfferent thing. And is he a hypocrite? No, he’s been honest about his own smoking habit, to the point of saying that he wants to make it more likely that kids will make good choices because the stuff is addictive.
Apparently, to avoid hypocrisy, any Republican physicians who have ever been sick will now surrender their licenses, and any Republican bankers who have ever bounced a check will now take jobs as waiters.
