You could just avoid news sources that don’t meet your needs, and seek out news sources that do.
Unless you’re in a waiting room. Far too many have TVs on, and sometimes they are doing what passes for “news”.
If that seems like a lot of bother, maybe more motivation would help. You could try reading Bryan Caplan’s Substack article, “Mainstream Media is Worse Than Silence”.
It didn’t affect me other than to strengthen my resolve to continue to avoid all of it, and give me more and better-reasoned reasons to avoid it.
On one hand, you have a competent guy who has done a lot of good in four years and has been one of the most working class, middle class, and progressive friendly presidents in a long time.

I just wish the news would talk about something else, like world news or something, but they’ve focused on this for the last 2 days

If I’m going to watch some strange show featuring an odd couple, I’d rather it star Jack Klugman and Tony Randall.

Haven’t decided if I’m going to watch to laugh at the DJT comedy show or not.

On the other, a convicted felon.
But both sides.

It’s debatable if you can call it a debate.
