Wilson is out worshiping in God’s Creation, and doesn’t Need to be cooped up in a dusty, musty assembly-hall to be told how be was Born sinful and can never be redeemed (Except by giving the preacher lots and lots of Cash, of course).
Somehow this reminded me of mom telling me that when I was little she’d put a brand new dress on me and told me not to get it dirty. Don’t know how I did it but I’d gone out to play. When I was done, I was a mess but my dress was spotless.
I had a 3 year old who would sabotage my Sundays in a similar but not the same way, causing me to miss a bus that only ran once an hour. I wish I paid more attention, she was on to something. about that Church
Almost no one dresses up and my church. I did go to a funeral earlier this week and saw a man wearing a tie. There were teenagers (it was a teenager’s funeral) who weren’t very dressed up.
