When I was in kindergarten, I thought my mom was in her 80s and my dad was in his 90s. My parents were both in their 40s at the time.
Something just occurred to me after I typed that. My mom died in 1989 and my dad a few years later. So my mom died in the 1980s and my dad died in the 1990s.
I remember seeing a movie with my 11 year old niece and she complained about people laughing too loud during the movie. I said who specifically. She said “somebody really elderly, probably 45 years old”
