My sister and brother-in-law went to a restaurant in the Chicago suburbs. The valet took the car. They went inside and had a wonderful meal. They came back outside and didn’t see the valet. Went in and asked the manager, “Where’s the valet”. He answered, “We don’t have one”. The car was found 2 days later, on the south side, stripped of everything. True story.

Sounds like a great tv show skit.

I’ve driven some beaters in my time. I’d never valet them if I could avoid it

I worked the Ballet. They had valet parking. One guest came in a Lamborghini. The boss parked that one.

The valet would probably want more than the car’s worth.
