When you put yourself out in view of the public eye you’re bound to receive many different points of view from all sorts of people for good or ill. So, do it anyway. You probably have more fans than not.
Several years ago, on my Facebook posts, i took a picture of the handicapped parking spots with the golf clubhouse in the near background, adding the comment Don’t all the golfers there have a handicap?
Not incredibly funny, but I place more value on original jokes than mere repost/ cut and paste
As u must know Lennie there are thousands of inconsiderate morons who think the rules don’t apply to them and that they are privileged and entitled to park in handicap spots or fire lanes or the pick up spots. They’re also the ones who leave their shopping carts all over the place in the parking lot. I know you were making a joke and it was really funny, so just cheer up my friend.
I really enjoyed that one. I do have a handicapped parking license because of my girl friend, who is visually impaired. I regularly have discussions with people guarding the handicapped parking spots, when I get out of the car…- “You are aware, that you are using a handicapped parking spot?”++"Yes, of course…."-“It’s for handicapped people, you know?”+"Yes, indeed…"—“You don’t appear very handicapped to me…”+“Well, we tried to let her drive, but she tends to be quite stubborn and is not very good at following orders… Insurance wasn’t very happy about that.”

Don’t worry, Lennie — you still got fans. Just yesterday someone said your stuff wasn’t fit for the bottom of a birdcage, but I corrected him.

To see the reincarnation of the original strip from 2002, go to July 7th of this year’s strips…

Never underestimate the ability of someone else to get offended at something you think is a joke.

I was one of the offending commentors. I’ve been called worse.

If you want to see commenters with no sense of humor, and no sense of proportion, check out YouTube.

Love your remark Lennie about handicapped spots for those with no sense of humor.

Some people aren’t happy unless they are offended. And they demand you do something about it.
