    Different people have different post-war stories. When I got home from the war in November, 1970, the cab driver refused to take any money for the ride from the airport to my wife’s apartment!

    Johnny Cash is always a good bet. The Sam Cooke would be a bit too somber for the occasion. Wuz Two, I admire your uncompromising honesty even though I opposed the war 100%. The anti-war folks hurt their moral credibility by dissing vets.
