If these comics really “go back to the beginning” why aren’t there any B.C. and Alley Oop strips. ;)

I know the three on the left side of the lower panel but what are the two strips on the back wall?

Looks like the beginning of Mutt and Jeff.

So here is how I read the cave drawings. First, a woman is berating 2 men (her mate and teenage son perhaps?) that there is no food for the infant. Second, she orders the 2 men to go out hunting. Third, we see the 2 men hunting. So what is the punch line? Humankind had not evolved to the level of having punch line.

I am not familiar with the “Krazy Kat” strip where they are lighting a bomb with a cigar. Perhaps it is twist on “Ignatz” and his ubiquitous “brick” from “Kolin Kelley’s” brick works? Mr. Lemon of course draws the current “Alley Oop” and “Little Oop” strips.

Hully gee! The Yellow Kid is in the exhibit.

Mr. Wiggly: He is marching (in his own way) thru the faux cave with 8-Ball. I think Weenus looks very handsome in his bow tie!
