One of the first appearances of a non-speaking character doing an open-mouthed laugh (last panel). I always thought that was a good indication how Lynn added subtle realism to her characters’ dialog. She did it throughout the entire series.

But you DO live in the past, Connie! You’re in the year 1978 (79?) and we’re all the way in 2008! It’s a strange sci-fi time loop you find yourself in.
