Oddly enough, it’s your candidate, Stantis.

You know, the one who has dozens of his former staff working on it, but knows nothing about Project 2025.

And who caused a million Americans to die from covid.

And pulled out of the Open Skies treaty and gave top secret information to Russians in the oval office.

And idolizes and sides with Putin. And Kim. And Xi. And Orban.

And attempted, violently, to overthrow the government of the United States.

    .

You know, all them things that both sides do. All the time.

Yes, the crazies are solidly for Trump. And the actual puppet masters as well. Thomas Edsall has a chilling piece in the Times today: The Man Behind the End of Roe v. Wade Has Big Plans for America. Trump wants to be tyrant. The tech and finance bro oligarchy thinks it can control him. Given his incompetence, they may be right. Not a bet i’d make. As always, the actual power is in the Cardinal Richelieus; funneling “donations” to all the people fueling the Christian Right’s takeover of the republic.

Except RFK Jr. pulled out (something his daddy should have done with his mommy) of the race but now can’t get his name off of the ballot in some states. Those sates are probably wanting to dilute the vote for Harris & Walz for a DJT win.

There was a time, not that long ago, when Carmen’s description would have been recognized as, at the very least, someone who is mentally ill. Contemplating how we lost the ability to identify mental illness is an interesting exercise.
