I work in live radio. Someone once asked me what words I cannot say on the air. My answer was, there are no words I cannot say on the air…but several that I can only say once.

I think you’re refering to the World-Wide Web and not the Internet, which is much, much huger.

I had a supervisor who worked with me on midnights. He would get disgruntled about things and type a memo to the boss about his gripes. By the time morning rolled around, he would take it back and shred it. Just typing it out made him feel better.

Likewise, when making a comment, it’s wise to reread it prior to hitting send. Most emails as well.For grammar and spelling because it reflects on you, and for real and perceived intent.
