Heart: We learned about oboes in music class. That's a goofy sounding instrument! Mrs. Angelini: Ah, not Tootie's oboe...Mrs. Angelini: Whenever he set up his little folding chair and began to play, it was as if the world went away! Mrs. Angelini: Seven years old and he played like a master! His nimble fingers floated over the 15 keys with the grace of a dancer and magically, the streets were transformed by his lilting notes! Mrs. Angelini: Being an impressionable 7-year-old myself, I fell instantly in love! Heart: Hold it! A guitar player, I can see. But an oboe?! Not exactly an instrument that sets hearts aflutter!
