Never stand up in a canoe! First lesson of the day!

“Righting” it may be difficult there because it is not upside down.

Used to canoe in class A through class III. Fun, scenic, but tiring (especially class III).

Closer to climbing over each other than around each other.

Song from early ‘60s had refrain – “sit down, don’t stand up in a canoe”
