mmmmm…slugs….

I wonder if in addition to getting shriveled they get nice and crispy when salted properly, Calvin?

Mmmm, slippery, slimy, slithering, succulent slugs.

He depraves her appetit.

So what’s wrong with slugs?

I’m vaguely dissapointed. This comic seems to stop part way through

I’d move my seat if I were Susie. Unless I was on a diet. He just killed my appetite again.

Poor ol’ Susie…she carries a torch for Calvin, and will always attempt small kindnesses, like passing the salt.

They have salt in school??? if so so not fair, we have to deal with the uneddable and sesonless food they feed us at school. thank God this is my last year.

I think if i was suise i would have to deck him one.

I used to love escargot until one time I ordered it in a restaurant and it was served not cooked. Believe me, it tasted exactly how I would have imagined a slug to taste. Blech!

I still think the “bug butter” was better than the slugs, tho slugs are pretty good too. Go, Susie!

Don’t let Susie losing her appetite again. SALT? Calvin dashed the salt on his sandwich. BLEEEEHHHH! ;-p I don’t use the salt to dash on my sandwich!

Well, wildmustang1262, i doubt you eat slug sandwiches! The salt probably adds flavor and some texture to the slugs. Sheesh!

Calvin sure knows how to push Susies button. I think they are perfect for each other, opposites attract.

i don’t know why they have salt at their school and not mine. but it was still funny

Um, salt makes slugs and snails shrivel up. Has nothing to do with the flavor, but with the texture.

FYI, you don’t really think Calvin has slugs on his sandwich, do you? Making Susie lose her appetite is his clever way of getting hold of her lunch – a running gag, so to speak.
