Tiger babes are scarce around these parts.

In response to doctortoon no I don’t chase cats. when I was a kid I did until I suffered an accident that left my left arm partially paralyzed for two and a half weeks. All I was trying to do was get the cat to go back in her yard so that it wouldn’t get hit by any cars. I was successful fortunately.

No babes! Horrible, of course!

Mom runs a tiger conservation at home. You guys should consider a run towards home.

oOh~~I really love this strip! first Calvin already see himself a tiger! funny! and seems they are quite upset in the 2nd and 3rd panels. so cute! and the last panel, both Calvin and Hobbes ARE funny! Calvin finally wants to go back to be a human being, and never knew that Hobbes are also seeking for tiger babes!!! hahaha!

Around some countries of Europe, kids are fast becoming endangered species, too.

Leave Europe out of it: we treat our kids–no healthcare, lousy education, parents away working, abusive situations–like an endangered species too.

Partly true Hobbes, plus the fact that no children in Calvin’s neighbourhood and town/city have pet tigresses.

They will certainly not have tigresses!

I think Calvin needs to buy another female stuffed tiger for Hobbes so Hobbes and his new mate can be romanced together everlasting time. LOLs!

Amberlight, it may be of interest to you that Kenneth Anderson has written a few books on the tigers of South India. Of course, at the time he wrote, tigers were freely roaming through the various jungles, whereas, now you can only see them in some national parks.

Watterson was a fantastic artist. My eyes keep coming back to panel three and I cant help but stare at the brush art and the feeling that panel conveys.

Agreed, Vince. Watterson’s smart art coupled with his incredible wit is why we keep coming back for more of the same.

See? It’s all about meeting babes. Or, if you’re a member of the Dead Poet’s Society, wooing babes.

And, doctortoon, it’s even better than that. wolfbyte36 not only was willing to get injured to help a cat, he considered it a success!

I’m sure Calvin’s parents would prefer he remain a tiger.

As a kid, Calvin has a better chance of saving tigers!

So we’re going back to normal… whatever normal is for C&H hahaha!!

I was running at my top speed, and knew that I too should get out of the street, took a bad step on the curb and slammed into a fence and fell on my arm.

Hobbes is fine. He’s sweet on Susie.

Ugh. Susy? I would have thought Hobbes had better taste than that. It’s OK, Hobbes, take your time. I haven’t met too many babes either, until recently, and she is worth the wait.
