Thatā€™s what happens when your imagination runs wild. Books eat homework.

Youā€™re right Grog that math homework is bad, but the tests are lethal!

I am sure that there is a book somewhere that is written by an experienced teacher. It is the listing of the more entertaining excuses for not having the homework to turn in. There even might be a true one here and there.

I used to put my homework in my bookcovers after I finished it for safe keeping. I looked all over in one of my books for my assignment and even shook it and nothing. I got yelled at good for it by the teacher. I came home and was going to redo the assingment as well as the new one. I grabbed the book from my bag and it fell out of the book. I freaked out and decided the book ate my homework and spit it back up!

I know what thatā€™s like, one of those parables of life that Waterson is teaching us that guides my life. The man is a genius and I expect I will always be a fan. Itā€™s the first thing I do every morning, read the Calvin and Hobbes strip for the day. I also bought the complete three volume history and most of the other books. Just sheer delight when youā€™re down. Always makes me smile. Now that Iā€™m old my imagination doesnā€™t run so free, but Calvinā€™s always makes me laugh. Such an admirable quality.
