Darn right. Still am,too.

I’d tell them, “Oh, really? Do you know how you get old? You just keep living one day at a time. The days keep accumulating until you have X number of years of them. The only way to avoid getting old is to stop living those days at some point and I decided not to do that but to keep on living them one day at a time. I don’t think I was wrong about that.”

They say you’re only as old as you feel.

I don’t want to become the oldest person in the world (not that I have a chance) because I’d throw my back out when I bent over for them to drape the medal over my head, fall off the podium, and die.

I think I’d tell them they’d be lucky to get this old.

I’ve never witnessed anyone being that cruel. I surely would not stand silent if I did. Most younger people are basically decent and respectful. I can’t believe anyone would be mean to Ruthie.
