My left eye is farsighted, and my right eye is nearsighted, which makes me lopsighted. My left lens makes a great magnifying glass, as it is twice as thick as the right one. People who have looked through my glasses are stunned and don’t understand how I can see with them. One eye doctor said that the difference in vision was like trying to walk in one high and one low heel. I’m used to it, but it confuses everyone else.
