Maybe she’ll lighten up now. Usually when something new gets it’s first blemish it suddenly sinks in that you just can’t keep things perfect forever.

Yeah, this reminds me of how my parents would park their new car in the next county when shopping to keep it from getting dinged or scratched, until it finally got dinged. Then it wasn’t such a big deal anymore.
