Thanks, Dan, for reminding us about being terrified, sitting at home in lockdown, bodies piling up in the morgue, the tent hospital in Central Park, all that. Good times.
My wife has underlying conditions…asthma, heart issues…when she got covid, she almost died. I felt like I had a bad flu, but that’s it. So, we broke down and got the vax after she got to feeling better. We even got the booster. Then covid visited us again. Didn’t hit as hard, and my wife didn’t have to go to the hospital. But we did feel like we got lied to about the vax, so we didn’t get any more boosters. I worked in a restaurant, and we remained open, and I did all the precautionary things, but it didn’t help. So, never again. I’ll just take my chances.

There are people out there who never stopped wearing masks. I know, I’m one of them.
