Get all the bags you will need. Take them to the part of the produce department where they have sprinklers keeping the vegetables wet. Wet your fingers on the frame of the display. Now rub them on the end of the bag labeled “Open this End.” Repeat for the other bags.
Some, maybe most, people will lick their fingers. This means they will get their spit on every vegetable or fruit they touch, including the ones they put back. Another reason to wash your produce when you get home.
