There’s a man here in Ontario who spreads out a bag of corn every day in the woods for the deer because winter has been so rough up here that the deer can’t find forage.
With animals, it’s always come one, come all — until the biggest or meanest arrives. Here, it’s usually squirrels, but we’ve had ‘possums and racoons at night on occasion. The deer generally stay out back; there’s usually nothing up front for them to eat that’s within their reach anyway. (Funny how perfectly ordinary words turn up on the banned list. Guess some people use them to mean something else. No, don’t tell me, I think I caught this one and don’t want to hear any examples.)
My sister’s home is in the mountains so she sees all kinds of animals. Once she sent me a pic of deer, then a minute later a pic of a mountain lion so I said you know it’s tracking the deer right? If it’s female and it’s early morning she probably has cubs.

I wish we had deer here. Birds, bunnies, squirrels (I love squirrels), but no deer. I’d feed every one.

Stray animals always tell each other where to get fed. I’ve fed one cat and that cat brings another. Never fails.

In Riverside county, California, feral DONKEYS come down from the foothills to eat residents gardens. Google it if you don’t believe me.
