elon musk, a private citizen, went to the top ranking US Dept of Treasury official and demanded access to the highly sensitive payment system, It disburses TRILLIONS of dollars in federal payments every year. The official refused, and trump fired him, and now musk has the access, granted by the billionaire who trump made the new treasury secretary. It has info about government, and the social security number of everybody in America who pays taxes, and musk’s business rivals.

That has never been a requirement for personal journals, letters to the editor or street corner ranting.
