The same reason you call it “Jock itch”.

I thought women don’t “sweat” either. They only “glisten”. So, call them glisten pants.

I though it was because he’s a fun guy.

And yoga pants, and tennis shoes

Difference is- Jock Itch and Athlete’s Foot are the terms used by society. She declared joggers herself. Not the same. Those are sweat pants.
