I apologise for not being very responsive the last few days. Both Judy (my daughter who lives with me now) and I have been under the weather. She is recovering from breast surgery – not cancer related. And I from a bad cold. I thought it was flu but the medicine man says otherwise. I have had my flu shot, Sorry to burden you with my problems- but the Village seems to be a good place to unload. :-)

I went in the hospital (outpatient clinic) today to have a barium xray of my esophagus. I have been having trouble with it constricting making it difficult to swallow. The test involved my drinking a chalky liquid while the doctor observed the xray. Not a very pleasant experience. I won’t know the results for a few days.

The above post is a good example of the type of personal information that I feel is best reserved for this Village. I don’t think Andy should be used for social media as much as it is by some of us.

I have no problem swallowing but all my life I’ve had a terrible mucus build-up that doctors can’t solve.

Sorry to hear about your misfortune – but you are an intelligent resourceful individual and will bounce back. You can’t keep a good man down.BCNU
