Nowadays, he could be arrested as a predator for what he’s doing.

Steve would be arrested and (if the DA is up for reelection, it's cut and dried) convicted, serve a little time in jail, then have his name listed forever on a ‘sex offender’ list that doesn't distinguish him from violent rapists, and forced to live under a bridge if he moves to some cities (example: Miami) since every habitable building is too close to a school or park. Also, Binkley would be sent to counselling until he admitted that seeing Steve had been traumatic. http://www.reformsexoffenderlaws.org/

But the worst part of the punishment is the part where you said, “It’s cut and dried.” Not a bad idea for the real sex offenders in this world.

Ray C. says (after an allusion to castration):

Not a bad idea for the real sex offenders in this world.

How do you decide who are the real sex offenders? Remember, the public shaming and permanent loss of civil rights now applied to convicted skinny dippers, were originally developed and promoted to stop violent rapists and other ‘sexual predators’. But government naturally expands, and now skinny dippers are ‘sex offenders’ whose only hope (if caught) is that a fair-minded cop or prosecutor might give them a break.
