He called her Blondie. It seems she just took his money and bought both. He’s to indecisive anyway. Maybe that’s his way of trying to brush her off without being rude.
Why doesn’t it occur to anyone that maybe her actual name is Blondie? People have given their kids far stranger names. Anybody else catch the irony of Binkley saying “I’m all for libbers” and then calling them “mad hens”? There’s dad’s influence showing again.
