Actually, it was the fake Hitler DAIRY.
Supposedly made Rocky Road ice cream, but in fact it was a creamatorium.
Sorry, even made myself groan with that one.
Charlie, you are insane. Mr. Hussein was nothing comparable to Herr Hitler. little georgie and his master, that dick cheney are better comparisons. The murders of thousands of Americans and tens if not hundreds of thousands of Iraqis are directly laid at the feet of these monsters. Not one good has come from the travesty that is the implementation of the PNAC doctrine.
Has it ever occurred to all you partisans that we might be better off if we concentrated less on our differences and more on our commonalities? Yeah, well, I thought not.
And yet, both the commonalities and the differences exist.
Maybe it would be better here and now to concentrate on what actually relates to the strip. Yeah, what a novel idea. (It’s tricker when the strip itself is politically charged!)
@Charlie: It wasn’t ONLY the US beating Hitler. It was a joined afford by the British, French and Sovjets. Actually the Sovjetunion scarified more to defeat the Nazis than the US. And still they did rebuild their country in record time AND were able to keep up in the arms race (started by the mass slaughters of Hiroshima and Nagasaki).
There is no way I would defend Hitler OR Stalin. But I have a problem with revisionist history where americans try to paint their country as this perfect white knight.
(While we are talking about it: Guess which government supported Hussein WHILE he is was murdering over a million people? I believe it was Reagan.)

Margaret Mead’s Secret Diaries would certainly be very racy reading (even her non-secret bio makes pretty good reading between the lines)….
I think these last few strips were inspired by the fake Hitler Diary scandal back in the ’80s: http://tinyurl.com/ncxeg4

Hey Charlie, are you forgetting that there was no weapons of mass distruction and we did all of that killing based upon lies?
