Hey, ciggy-mouth! You might at least have stolen some fresher flowers, Creep!

Hey, I was a “Hired Gun” for a high school prom, and I was only a junior! I had a great time and she was very “grateful” if you know what I mean. It’s not a bad gig!

I was a prom shark. I went solo and danced with all the girls I knew who were in the process of breaking up with their steadies.

Ummm, Charlie, Steve couldn’t melt butter in a microwave.

I always thought she was cute, myself. Steve’s own arrogance, if anything, will undo this scenario.

Forget Dallas. How much is Yaz getting for this gig?

Whatever it is, it ain’t enough.

Somehow, from somewhere, Yaz has to dig up enough personal pride to go back into the house and leave Dallas, with his black vette, standing on the front porch; his ciggybutt hanging from his martini marinated lips.

Hmmm…what if she pays Steve to NOT go and just takes the ‘vette?

On the plus side, it looks like there’s very little chance of Yaz getting molested by Steve; I’m sure that even he has standards.

Steve? Standards? I just think she is not going for his phony charm. Bobbi did Yaz no favors here! :-D

Nice corsage, Steve - a class act to the end. I wonder how many of us were like Steve a little, at one time or another. Not me, of course, I’m talking about you.

Even though this strip predates “Pulp Fiction” by years and years, I can’t help being reminded of John Travolta and Uma Thurman here.

Maybe that’s just because I’m weird, though.
