We first purchaed a Smurf in a gift shop at the top of Trail Ridge Road in Colorado two or three years before the Smurfs actually became popular. It was a King Smurf. When the Smurfs did finally became popular there was no such thing as a King Smurf any more, just Papa Smurf, Smurfette, and all the other everyday shmos. We had no idea where ours King was any longer. It’s probably worth a fortune now as a collector’s item.

Joan Jett is actually left handed, but plays the guitar right handed. I suspect when she was young, she only had acess to right handers……….

Budmania–My boyfriend is left-handed, but he plays the guitar right-handed. He says all the instruction books he found were for right-handed playing, and it was easier to learn that way than to work out the reverse.

I’m left-handed but play the guitar right-handed – gives me an excuse for how lousy I sound!

    Wasn’t this an Elvis song?

“You ain’t nothin’ but a scuzball, scuzzin’ all the time; well, you ain’t never caught a smurf, you ain’t no friend o’ mine.”
