The Call of the Wild: “Pizza Hut!”

That’s MY response to “Pizza Hut”, too!

Today it would be “Starbucks”. Come to think of it there probably IS a Starbucks in Antarctica.

Is there any pristine land that we have yet to terrorize and spoil? I think not.

rac0308: No, I don’t live in a cave, but we all will live in caves as soon as the nukes hit. And don’t worry about my use of electricity, the EMF will put out power grids across the country for months. On the other hand, Cap and Tax will make electricity so expensive we’ll not be able to afford it anyway.

billrad: Thanks for the complement, but one doesn’t have to be a mathematician to see where our global society is going. On the 24 hour doom clock, it is about 23:57 and counting. The human race is totally unqualified to govern itself and the inevitable is bound to happen. Laugh all of you that will, but remember he who laughs last laughs longest and I haven’t even cracked a smile yet.

Unspoiled? Penguins poop so bad you can see the mess from outer space.

I thought the Doomsday Clock was just set back from Armageddon by a minute to 23:53.

mfcoace: Actually, I was speaking figuratively, but with only a 3 or 4 minute difference between your figures and mine I’d say that if you start running on my figures and the nuke hits on your figures you still won’t have run far enough to escape death.

That’s what I say when anyone speaks of it too.
