There was a Fantastic Four comic in which The Thing photocopied his butt and sent the picture to someone; the guy looked at it for a while, then said, “Why would someone send me an aerial picture of the Grand Canyon?”

It looks like it changed from Max Headroom to Nixon. Tomorrow it changes from Nixon to Elvis. (No, not really. Well, maybe.)
Max Headroom was big at this time, for anyone who knows not of which I speak. Look him up.
It also looks like Hannibal Lecter, but he’s 10 years in the future.

yiddish got it from hebrew - tachas (or tachat in modern israeli pronunciation…). literally, bottom.

First pictures are of our ole’ pal Ronnie R. My grandma was big in the local Republican party and had the exact same photo at her house.
