Today’s musical “artists” are nothing more than polished karaoke singers. There’s a lack of creativity. Seems that many have to have a “beef” with another “artist” or say something really dumb (Bieber). Sad, rally, what passes for talent these days.
If they could include Def Leppard in with those other so-called “noxious” bands, I’d take sixty hours of them over six minutes of Manilow – every time!
True story: when I was sixteen, I had earphones on at home and my Mom yelled at me for listening to that awful rock music…it was Barry Manilow.-She loved him once she heard him.-I kept my KISS, Boston, and Kansas tapes at school in my locker.

Where is PETA? 60 hours of Manilow is a cruel experiment if there ever was one

Why all the hits at Barry Manilow? I kinda like him. Don’t hear much from him anymore. Wonder what he’s doing.

And so, Barry Manilow will go down in history as one of the main influences behind the short-lived but iconic Deathtongue metal band.
