I remember this one. I didn’t really like it then. But it doesn’t bother me now. Time has softened me, even liberalized me. And I’m still “studying” to be an American by not placing my personal feelings above the right to free speech, freedom of expression, etc. There are some benefits to growing old.

Some judge in the 1800s ruled that corporations have First Amendment rights. Corps. exercise – exploit – that right without having to go to jail.

I should’ve clarified my second comment: I meant that I can be jailed for my behavior but that corporations can’t. How many corporations are in prison? And how many are on death row? Petty fines and lawsuits seem to be the only ways to deal with their misbehaviors.

I believe so-called left-wingers do not have a monopoly on abusive charges and labeling . I’ve read abusive comments from so-called right-wingers and from neutrals and none-of-the-aboves. For those who choose to abuse me, well, that’s fine; I find it rather amusing. I’ve had worse abuse from my drill instructors and from some bosses. And somehow I managed to survive.
