    One time I very politely said “I’m not interested, thanks” and hung up. The guy called me back, said “it’s rude to hang up on people,” and then hung up on me! (Sure hope he found a different job!)

    Got one repeat “ad infinitum” call from a telemarketer. Did a little recon, and found out they were in Chicago. Told them that I knew which office bldg they were in, and that if they didn’t stop calling, I would be waiting outside (Not really, because I live in DC). Stopped the calls, but I felt bad about it for a long time. Would NEVER do it again! Needed to learn to harness my own abilities, as the rest of the world may not understand all that US taught me.

    When they call, try selling something to them if its a person. MUCH more entertaining. Or do the “Oh, I’m so glad you called” thing and never let them get a word in.
