About one digit’s difference in a human hand; but in a cartoon hand, I’m not so sure….

Saw a gal in the local superdupermarket wearing a t-shirt with the image of the ‘ol digitus impudicus and the caption “Can you hear me now?” She walked around with her hubby for at least 10 min. with a cell phone glued to her head. She didn’t need the image to get her point across.   IMHO the British “two-finger” threat is even more aggressive–think it’s a promise to ram a couple up your adversary’s nose during the next scrum.

The difference is: one is an extremity, one has feathers. Or am I being too literal again?
