I’m still waiting for my bounty from the first oil war. Add the oil revenues from Operation Iraqi Liberation and I can live well enough!

You served in the Spanish-American War? Wow. That was for the establishment of oil stations in the Caribbean and the Philippines for the fleets.
Have to wonder where the next one will be, since we seem unable to refine enough sand to silicon to make solar cells, and get out from under oil.
