Huey: Seriously, man. What does it all mean? A beloved trio of white, country-singing gals suddenly attacked by the public without mercy just for speaking out against the President. If America can be so hateful toward them, do you have any idea what that means for the rest of us?!!! Caesar: That perhaps you should lower your voice? Huey: Oh yeah, right...

Nor would Malcolm! So right-on, and downright scary to white folks! Ever hear him talk?
The Pacifica Archives has quite a bit of his speech.
Also look for Mumia’s commentaries there…

Indeed pbarnrob. If the real left was ever given a sliver of the airwaves broadcast in this country most Americans would pee their collective panties.

Patrick JB Flynn said that Liberals don’t get very much time on the airwaves… Well, they took the White House recently so they can’t be short on numbers… Only answer is that even Liberals can’t stand to hear Liberals whine… It’s funny - every time a Liberal talk show fires up, it quickly fades away. I think the reason is that Liberals pride themselves on having lofty ideals like peace, love, and pacifism - but once you start actually articulating those things it becomes obvious just how empty of content they are about how to achieve those things…

As far as the Dixie Chicks go - they weren’t members of an oppressed minority, they were over-privileged celebrities who abused their fame to enter a political arena - and reaped the consequences.
You take the bull by the horns, expect to get gored… They made themselves fair game.
Besides, all the knee-jerks who went out and smashed their CD’s one day, went out and bought new ones a month later, because most people are stupid.

I gather that the passwords to avoid thought and research are to label any person who disagrees as “Liberal” or, as the case requires, “Conservative”.
