He’s mentioned this several times on the television show as well. Is this inheritance that Huey and Riley’s parents left behind, or is it inheritance that Grandad himself was saving for them? The parents have never been mentioned, but most people assume they are deceased.

The fact of people who actually think that way is why it’s funny — if no one did, it would just be stupid.
Also, “it’s” is a contraction of “it is” — I think you meant “its,” which is the singular possessive form of “it.”
