Being a morning person, I could never understand those who crawled in at 9AM, whined about it being so early and then take off for an 11:30 lunch. Groan.

the ā11:30 lunchā is more likely to be breakfast. take it from a long time worker on a steady afternoon shift.

When ever I was late for work, I made up for it by leaving early.

I usually did that on Fridays - because the rest of the time I was getting in early and leaving late.
