My chihuahuas are fabulous. They love to play and pretty much run and bark. It’s tiring just watching them play.

Ladywolf - That’s great! My cat is probably one of the best pets I have had. However, she is very possessive and won’t allow any other pets around. (On the plus side that saves money on food, litter, etc. LOL)

LuvH8 - It’s only 71° in Chicago now and should only reach mid-80’s. Here it’s 84° and high is to be 85° but will probably get higher than that. (Yesterday it reached 100°)

Sojourner I hope Luv8h picture of a cat is ment to be funny. I’m so tired my eyes especially. Had a hard time sleeping last night and my legs are sore. Very good exercise yesterday. I need Branson, MO type of workout that would be even better. No making good use of my muscles. How was your day today? Hope more better then mine.

Kab Buch - My day has been fine, I wish yours was better. LuvH8 had been complaining about how hot it was going to be for her today and wondered if someone sent her the heat! I told her I would if I could. Then she was joking of sending me bad weather or something but it would not be a good idea because you and Rmom also lived here. The picture was for me (to be funny) because I would send her hot weather if I could! :-)

Okay thanks, I know BT is suppose to be fun and leg pulling, I just don’t want to hurt someone feelings. Believe me I am hearing others wishing for cooler weather. Went to my mom’s place to mow not as big as rmom but seems like it. Got a dirt, grass and sticker bath all over.

Kab Buch - As it is often windy when I mow I usually get covered with dirt and grass too!

It wasn’t windy the catch that shoots grass, dirt and stickers is not on the riding lawn mower. I would not want to use a push or sell propell one way too much mowing for that. Here where I live it’s okay. Our 27 year old son mows part and my daughter’s finance mows back as their girl dog like my icon uses back for bathroom so they clean up her mess.

I will be checking comments on and off as I am going to fix supper now.

I haven’t had AC in 14 days. The East coast has been hot and humid. I look at (listen to) a certain female and wonder if I should use a knife or a hammer. Then I turn the page and get lost in a world where temperature doesn’t count. Thank God for books, heat waves or blizzards.

Hello Lewreader I feel for you we didn’t have 14 days but 2 days our A/C wasn’t working well. We pay for homewarnity, I think a rip off, and they informed us our own unit is older then the house. So the ones who lived here long before us bought an old unit. To replace will cost a bundle we don’t have. I have read books based on snowy places and it would be hot it didn’t cool me down, same as a book based on summer or different temps same. I like to escape with books. I’m working on one now over half through. A murder mystery and they where going through a lot of rain. One of the main Dr.’s is going through hot seat with grand jury. Authr is John Lescroart called The Oath.

Doc - Sometime during the week I’ll post a link (I have on my other computer) I got by e-mail. It’s of a 7 year old girl singer singing a song from a music DVD. One of those persons that seems to have natural talent for singing, sounds like she must be older than she is!

Hi Tribe - As I write (beginning @ 7:39 CDT), it is still 89 degrees in Houston (heat index 95, with 52% humidity). No, I haven’t been outside today to experience it. Yes, you would have to give me an extremely good reason to do so.

I feel for all of you suffering with or without AC in the summer heat, wherever you are. Sometimes I think I should move to a cooler and drier planet like, say, Mars. I’ve got my spot picked out, on top of Olympus Mons, the highest volcano (or even mountain) in the Solar System.

But since I have your attention, what kind of pool do you play? Nine ball seems to be the popular competition play.

Thunderdog2, I play both 9Ball and 8Ball leagues. I prefer the 9Ball competition for the money tournaments though.

Understandable. It’s neat to watch talented players do 9Ball. For me, 8Ball works better for my clunky play. Unfortunately, I got in the habit of playing left handed even though I’m a righty. (No power on the breaks).

Well I know Thunderdog2. It’s because they are engaging in subjects that I have no knowledge in. That is why I cut my posting down., Also I have been working with a writing group for fun as well as other things.

I still go there though.

Okay LW18, I missed your musings and wanted to make sure the princess of PB is doing fine. I am glad to see you posting on more on Calvin.

Yes, we old folks tend to ramble on subjects which you young whipper snappers have no idea what we are talking about. Don’t worry; in 20-30 years, you’ll be doing the same thing. =] (It’s part of the circle of life). Take care.

Singapore is ahead 2 to 1 sets (in 5 set contest), 1 set away from their first world title. I watched Chinese men play when I was at KU, talk about fast reflexes!

China has only lost once since 1975. Singapore has never won.

Tied 2 sets each, going to 5th set.

Singapore 6, China 3 (go to 11 with 2 point lead)

Singapore 8, China 4

Singapore 10, China 7

Singapore won! World gold medal.
