Grog it happen to me again at work. Two weeks ago the am shift told me windows crashed couldn’t get it to work. I was told to total shut down day before I left, thought okay didn’t think it would matter, next day it happened. Two weeks later DIO computer expert brought in a new computer hard drive, well surprise the boss let the Admin Assist have it and we get hand me down one. Bummer. Was told it’s only 2 years old. For computer’s once bought there extinct. Oh I hope I pass. There is a senior service place not far little north of us. I mentioned someone I know who qualifies that someone checked it out and they had nothing. This local aircraft I mentioned a while back stating laying off 50 to 70% of workers backpeddled. Now union reps are getting involved a year before contract is up since they feel it’s getting serious about jobs. Where my hubby use to work at been retired they are recognizing same situation there contract is coming up in two months.

Kab, I guess it’s a good thing your husband’s retired, but the layoffs won’t be good for the local economy for sure.

Well they sure don’t treat you well there, do they?. With what’s going on though, it wouldn’t be a good thing to leave there unless you’ve got something better lined up.

Yes, I’m at work, so sometimes I can be too busy to follow what’s going on. I do my best to multi-task though. If there are any questions put to me, I will answer them when I can.

Unfortunately I can’t leave the position. No unemployment and I need that pt money to pay for two things cc and part on Jr. college. My own daughter couldn’t get on fed help. We don’t have extra $3000 for one semester. This spell check has me lazy. This will help if I change subjects where to go to Medical transcription’s.

Rmom - I just finished supper and am watching TV. I know it might rain Tuesday but didn’t think it would be this soon.

Sojo - It is out by Hays right now, so I don’t know how soon the front will hit Wichita. Probably late or in the morning.

Rmom - I’ll check the radar and hourly forcast then.

I probably need to figure out something for my supper fairly soon. I’m going through my Mom’s pictures (she always had a camera with her!) Scanning some, & sorting. Both of my parents were packrats - Mom was a very organized one, but still kept almost everything. I’m a “recovering” packrat - trying to go through everything & reduce to just what I really want/need to keep.

Rmom - I’m trying to thin things out also. Radar shows storms are in a line going from SW to NE moving NE, not this way. Best change of rain is from 3 am until tomorrow at 2 pm.

Sojo - It will be nice to have it cooler!

I have a huge amount to go through! Since I’m the executor of my parents’ estate, I ended up with a lot of stuff just because I didn’t have time to sort through it before the estate sale. If I knew it was stuff that we wouldn’t be selling (like photos, receipts, etc.) I just boxed it up & took it home to sort through “later”. Well, “later” has arrived. I also have all the stuff I’ve collected through the years for homeschooling, etc. that I need to figure out what I’m going to do with it. I do NOT want to move junk, just because I didn’t take the time to sort through it.

Rmom The foecast for the next 9 days (for what it’s worth) shows 80’s except 77 tomorrow and 2 days where it might hit 90. :-)

@a Little Sharper U: No-Compete Clauses are fine with me, especially when they’re in Writing, but that hardly explains your interest in such things as hockey.

What I meant to say, put in other words here, is that we both seem to be Jungian ENFPs with similar Trickster senses of humor and the last thing you need to do is to provoke mine with yours. Think of two dragons pretending to be verbal buzzsaws with each other and you might get the general idea.

Ah! Finally starting to cool down.

Good evening who is left. Won’t be on for too long. I am so looking for cooler weather even if rain. We have sliding, I call windows, hubby says door by kitchen sad part there used to be a overhead porch but previous owner took it down bad shape. If had money would like to replace and that way we could enjoy nice rainy weather without coming in dining. Just got my used 2nd book someone else had waiting for Medical dictionary then I can take all newer books back not opened not used to bookstore for money. I figure since It will go back I won’t get full money on used books won’t loose to much money on return if pass subject. Plan to do this for future. And I’m not the only one who has done this.

Little Sister aren’t you from CA area? Cause after we receive rain will get warm again hope not triple since Sept is coming. When we have State fair after Labor Day a rainy cooling down always comes. In Oct. a few years we’d have real wacy weather. Either snow, very dangerous cold winds, storms, one time a tornado came between two small towns and where we where at could almost feel it. This would happen around 10/31.

Someone took pictures of Hays,KS of all the rain and wind damage received earlier today. Wow.
