I found out last evening that our teacher gave us all credit for one test problem that was having “technical difficulties” last week. I have no ideas of lions and lambs, except they both start with L and you probably don’t want to annoy a Lion oh and ummm. oh can’t never mind…. I learned that on public television but……

So from goggling the google or googling then goggling the results, I sort of get that March 4th is the day you set a group goal to start and the group marches forth to accomplish that goal. Is that correct?

Hope&Joy - No problem! Ooops! - I have no idea. I remember my Mom teaching me the old wives’ tale about March weather (or at least the KS version). It seems here that more often than not, March comes in as a “lamb” and exits as a “lion”, but I think that is backward from what people expect. But then in KS, most of our weather isn’t what people expect to get in any given season.

Ooops! - I myself unaware of anything to do with March 4 but that sounds good.

Rmom - I think in grade school we were told that if it comes in as a lion it goes out as a lamb and if it comes in as a lamb it goes out as a lion. That was a long time ago though so I may be off. However, windy and calm days can be expected this month!

@Ooooops!!!!, editors used to use a blue pen to mark corrections since the systems used to photograph the text for printing did not pick up blue–and I suppose also to make the corrections easier to pick out with the eye.

And I used to work in a printshop. We had black, blue (light) and red pens for various purposes. And pencils–same colors.

bmonk - One place I worked we had a major customer that would fax us notes on corrections using a pencil. Back then the fax machines wouldn’t pick up pencils and we kept telling her to use a pen. She didn’t like pens and wouldn’t use one even though her faxes were useless. Someone finally figured out that if she first copied her note with a copier and faxed that we could read it.

Root canals are no fun, but they’re a lot less painfull than they used to be.

Wolfie - I’ve had several root canals. (I’ve lost count, but at least 3.) Getting my teeth cleaned is worse than having a root canal in my opinion, especially if you get “gas” and have a gentle dentist. The main downsides are that a root canal usually requires more sessions, and is way more expensive than a cleaning. Because if a person gets a root canal, then they have to get a crown on that tooth, and those are not cheap. Plus, even with dental insurance, that usually pays 50% of the cost of the crown, compared with the 80% or better for the work done on the tooth.

Rmom, I certainly know all about the costs of crowns. I think we’ve got similar or identical plans.

Grog - At least they’ve started making them out of something other than gold. I got one just a few months ago, and figured with the price of gold, it would be really high priced. It was bad enough, but not as bad as I feared. My crowns have been spread out over enough years, that I’ve had several different dental insurance coverages, but 50% seems to be pretty standard.

Well, my hubby’s working in ICT this week, which means he’s hanging around the house in the evenings, so I think I’d better get off the computer. Good night!

Rmom, Wolfangil works at a hospital and will get the work done very inexpensively and for some things such as the stuff to put her out, it is free of charge. I’ll be surprised if between her insurance and the “freebies”, if she has to pay anything at all.

I now have my phone set up so that I can deposit my checks into my account by taking a picture of them. Awesome. Only drawback is that there is a limit of $3000 per month right now. I didn’t believe the commercial, but it’s true. I’ve had one clear already.

I have had direct deposit in the past and have done internet banking for years now, but this being able to deposit a check from the convenience of my house is pretty cool. You can deposit any type of a check, personal or business. It notifies me by text on my bank app when the check is accepted and also when it clears.

With this android phone it is the same as a secure internet connection and requires passwords to be accessed.

I will try the avatar change one more time today.
