Good morning, friends!Doc - Iâm glad weâre not at war! If KS was at war with CO, where would Kansans go for skiing? Our Great Pyranees mix was around the same size as a St. Bernard. Thankfully, we donât have a leash law out here in the country, because it wasnât easy walking him on a short leash.
Wolfie - Iâm glad Wolfangil has great health benefits, because thatâs the part I dread most about a root canal.
As a check writer, I would be concerned that with photo deposits my check could be deposited in more than one account. Most likely by some dishonest person, but could happen by a forgetful or disorganized person.

Doctor Toon my daughter would know how you feel on walking a full grown dog that age. She came upon one type of leash she loves and has great control of the dog. Iâm not sure of the name, but the special leash doesnât hurt the dog and people get a little confuse. Itâs I believe is a muzzle leash. A loop that goes around the dogs mouth and neck lets the dog know the owner has control and will dog will walk with the owner. I will send this off and in a little while ask the name of this leash.
Hello. I just asked my daughter that leash is called a halti. She loves it and had to introduce plus give the female dog a treat for this. She is also working on the male golden retriever at now 9 months. At first the female didnât like the idea but know reconizies for walks. People, my daughter notices thinks by their reactions, thinks there is something wrong with the dog but no just gives owners more control.
My daughter does feel she needs it for control. The female golden retriever loves people, with the exception if someone comes to the door she goes in protect mode. She loves going to garage sales and this is before this halti leash, she would litterally drag you to someone. Otherwise I would have to tell her either to heal or sit sharply. She was great at therapy on pulling my shoulder muscles long after shoulder surgery.
Anyway she loves this halti.
Last year when the male was a puppy, dummy me I thought take both on a walk. Female no problem, whereas, the male I was watching out for, problem male puppy managed to wrap the regular leash around my ankle and managed to trip me on the street. Iâm waiting until puppy gets a little older and he is close to female size. My poor knees last year got scraped real bad and bleed heavily. I had to clean and ice pack. This wonât happen second time.
The choice is strickly yours and your wife Doctor Toon on your dog. I need to go and exercise. Then on my writing lab for English, and I had help from someone who knows English and they even got frustated, Iâm nearing the end of my writing lab and I plan to print the pages to help with last tests. English doesnât end until May. After exercise I will be getting on-line. I do the work on writing documents just need help on major run-ons, still a major problem for me. As with others.
Good Morning, peoples! (esp: â„Kabâ„, Rmom, DocT, & PwBâŠ)
Dusty: either take notes, or develop good taste. Your choice.
BTW, Iâve never had one, so I canât be sure, but I suspect poodles donât pull that hard against the leash. Unless they see a puddle and go for a swimâŠ
HmmmâŠâŠ Old StuffâŠâŠ the older two generations have been really irritating me recently. I told my mom the other day that every time one of them annoys me I break something. I donât, but maybe I shouldâŠ..
I donât think it works that way with Gmaâs stuffâŠ.. most of it is usually hidden. People are really weird about old stuff and junk. I think I will work on getting rid of mine.
Once my cousin went to his folks farm and heard glass breaking behind the barn when he arrived. My aunt had saved hundreads of glass jars in the barn in case she needed to put something in them. My uncle was behind the barn with a hammer breaking a lot of jars. He didnât think she needed all the jars and had been trying to throw some out. He finally got her to let him throw out any cracked jars.
Oooops! - I, too, enjoy the gifs. Thanks for my new name, too.
Iâll still answer to about anything that has âmomâ in it, though, if people donât want to type it all.
Sojo, I have an axeâŠâŠ There really is no point in keeping something once it is broken. I like your cousinâs thinking and I am fond of hammers too.
Smiley Mom, thank you⊠the name suits you.
Good Afternoon Lonewolf, does this mean I am going to have to greet everyone again since it is no longer morning? I was trying to do better with greetingsâŠâŠ. butâŠâŠ. butâŠâŠ butâŠâŠ
pseudo - Just go to your profile page and type in the name field whatever you want to show up. Your account/user name remains the same, all the changes is what shows up for others to see.
HI I think I have greeted everyone once except Pseudon
My sister is really o.k. she is just a different personality and likes to put things off that need to be done sooner rather than later and causes some stressâŠ.to which she says, âwait until you are MY ageâ She may have a point! It is just I like to get things I dread (like paying taxes writing a term paper) out of the way early so I can forget about it. She is 16 years older than I and baby sat me when I was youngâŠâŠSorry for this saga
SmileyRmom I have come so close to writing Gmom when I address you because that is my name away from this site (grandmom) to my Colorado grands and it comes naturally. I sign my emails and cards to them âGmomâ
Hope&Joy - I understand completely! Iâm the youngest out of 5 siblings, so Iâve had to deal with older siblings. Since my folks picked me for power-of-attorney, trustee, & executor, it has been difficult at times for my siblings to accept I was in authority over them.
I learned when I was a senior in high school to get things done ASAP, because I was working full-time in addition to going to school. I found that my stress levels were better, than when I waited until right before the deadline. Of course, the downside is that sometimes I use the extra time to make the project more elaborate than it needed to be.
Hope&Joy - Iâm old enough to be a âGmomâ, but my kids arenât even close to being ready to be parents. Iâll admit to being an âold ladyâ especially since it seems Iâm aging quickly. I figured I earned my silver hairs, wrinkles & bad joints.
I am fighting off being forced by circumstances and people into being one of the main decision makers for Gma, so far I am not doing too well. I may have to have myself declared incompetent.
It is okay Pseudonymous, you will notice we are shortening your name already. If it offends you, you better type up quick. There are no rules about greetings. Many people will just do a general greeting and then greet those that greet them. Sometimes I just greet those that have been on in the last hour or two. Sometimes I try to see if I can sneak in with no greetings to or from anyone.
Ooops! - I understand how tempting that may be, however, you could end up with some unpleasant unintended consequences, like someone else making decisions for YOU.
Oh! They already do that! That is a major part of the problem. I have no power for big decisions and am expected to deal with daily decisions. Then they make big decisions with little to no knowledge or regard âŠâŠ UmmmmâŠ. ranting nowâŠâŠ
Grog - Thatâs fine with me, although âRmomâ catches my eye better when Iâm trying to speed read to catch up on the posts. It might take me awhile to get used to SRM.
No, problem, Rmom. Itâs hard enough trying to speed type without typos without long-winded names like JADâs. Of course he insisted that we spell the whole long-winded thing out.
While my son had possession of my computer earlier today, I worked on cleaning out some stuff. Now Iâm shredding 17 year old check copies. It is like an archaeological dig.
Home from work, no pool and I can relax. Whoops, not yet!
Wofangil canât get in until Saturday morning, but it wonât cost anything as she is having it done at the hospital where she works. Except for the meds afterward.
As long as she is careful with what she eats and drinks, the pain is bearable.
YesâŠ. I like the name Joe better than Steve though. It certainly isnât something âŠ.. this is why nicknames and adjectives. Sometimes I have trouble with my daughterâs friendsâ and exsâs names they tend to have names like: âWears Same Stupid Hat All The Timeâ and âWalks Like Stick isâŠâŠâ and âReally Tall Guy Who Needs a Glass Of Juiceâ
My âsisterâ problems may be solved thanks to a lovely agency of volunteers called Care Connection that we can use as a back up when needed who accept donations. There ARE Answers to prayer,
Wolfie - It doesnât seem like the drugs are real expensive. All I can think of would be antibiotics and/or pain killers. Generics would probably do the job.
Sojourner, I didnât have that problem in school, Iâd say Iâve met quite a few Kevins in my working life, a number of which I am still friends with. 2 of them hung out together and were members of the same band. We called one of them Fred. Now if they ended up going to a party where any of those other Kevins showed up it could get really confusing. Then there was Kevin the bar-tender. He may have gotten a little confused if one of us were shouting out one of our friendâs names.
As it stands right now my boss goes by the same name.
Hope&Joy - Iâm glad you found some help! We got several high school/college age girls (who we knew from church) to come in and relieve my sister after Mom began to need 24/7 care. She didnât need shots or anything that took medical training, so the girls worked out fine. We called them âgranny sittersâ, because they did basically the same thing a baby sitter would do, just for a grandma instead.
Lonewolf, was Wolfangil able to get anything for the pain between now and Saturday? I always hated having to wait until the fixed the problem for the painkillers.

Hi and Bye or Bi or By to all Hang in there Ooops
My âsisterâ problems may be solved thanks to a lovely agency of volunteers called Care Connection that we can use as a back up when needed who accept donations. There ARE Answers to prayer,

Wolfie - It doesnât seem like the drugs are real expensive. All I can think of would be antibiotics and/or pain killers. Generics would probably do the job.

Hi, â Lonewolfâ
Sojourner, I didnât have that problem in school, Iâd say Iâve met quite a few Kevins in my working life, a number of which I am still friends with. 2 of them hung out together and were members of the same band. We called one of them Fred. Now if they ended up going to a party where any of those other Kevins showed up it could get really confusing. Then there was Kevin the bar-tender. He may have gotten a little confused if one of us were shouting out one of our friendâs names.
As it stands right now my boss goes by the same name.
In fact, my bossâs name is Keven

I didnât pay a lot for my painkillers, which is a good thing because I didnât use them all. I didnât may much for the antibiotics either.
