I’m just getting ready to hit the sack, but I think a little of Johanan’s decaffeinated green tea for a night cap would be great!!!! However, for breakfast, please leave a tray outside the door at about 9 a.m. with an egg white omelet with spinach and some of your all beef sausages, and of course, it would be the time for some of Doc’s World Famous Nuclear coffee……..I have the collector’s mug from last time…….

Feels like winter here again. Rain most of the day, temps AND wind speed in the 40’s. But NW KS is having blizzard conditions, 5” of snow, and plenty of wind to go with it. However, the good news is we’re supposed to be up to 80°F by Monday. Ah, spring in KS - never dull!

Hello friends of the Big Top! Surprise! it is me yet again! I haven’t read many of your comments prior to today but the ones I have read, touched me very much…Thank you so much for caring.

I have been a busy being this past week. Came home from the hospital late Wednesday p.m. I did not have pneumonia after all…I have cancer of either the pancreas or small intestine according to the “colors” and from there it spread to my lungs. I start chemo on May 3rd after I heal from the various biopsies and surgeries and gain strength. The oncologist will know more in3 months about how I respond. He says the chemo should not make me ill and I should not have pain.

I had a wonderful surgeon who came into the recovery room last Friday morning with his spiderman lunch pail to tell me that the 50/50 went against me. His name is Jimmy Stewart! and I just love him. He is not the typical surgeon personality as he almost went into pediatrics

All my doctors have been a blessing for which I am grateful and the nurses and techs were great.

Best of all, my daughter from Colorado surprised me by flying in and staying with me along with my son and husband. She had her big annual Western Interstate Commission of Higher Education meeting which 15 states attend and her boss sent her in. Amazing.

Must go for now but will keep in touch. I am so sorry for this sad news. Please keep enjoying the comics with me and spread hope and joy wherever you can. I love you all!

My day was pretty good. I continue to get good marks in school.

♥Little Sister♥ - That’s great. The first year or two of college weeds out a lot of students. After that it’s easier to stay in college.
