Good morning, Everyone,.I’ve been researching “over the oven” microwaves………ours died last week, and I think I’m almost ready to make a decision. Do any of you folks have one you would recommend? The reviews I’ve read go anywhere from people loving their’s to having them die after the warranty expires! I thought these things last a long time…..silly me.
Hmmm….. I thought those things usually last a long time too, I usually buy a product that is normally in the mid price range and end up having it for many years. The last microwave I had from start to finish was an Emerson, I had it about 7 years. It might have lasted longer but my sister used it too and she was a curse to electronics.
Good morning all. I was not going to comment. Montana Lady a lot of microwaves do last a long time. My mom and dad bought one I believe before we got one 25 years ago. Dad has been gone since 1999 and her microwave is still working. We do use are for cooking. We now since last year, my daugther and her fiance bougth one at a garage sale, your right though most people do not like microwaves. We have a Sharp Carosel II. Depends on how big you need. Oh the microwave we bought shortly after my parent’s got theres, only thing that went out was the light bulb. Then after 25 years started sparking. Now we have a Sharp Carosel and doing great.
@ Sojo: I too am in catch-up mode at the moment.++++Thanks for all the birfday wishes! (Including SR Mom and Serena !)++++NightGaunt, my post on Nelson’s hovercraft is a reference to my dad’s boss, who once characterized the chance of the Vineland Map being authentic as about the same as “Lord Nelson using a fiberglass hovercraft as his flagship at Trafalgar.”It would have been cool though. Especially with a few recoilless guns mounted. Or even a bunch of machine guns or small autocanons.
Luv Me, tis the budget season and our P.I.T.A. auditors are still making requests that should have been made a month ago. Auditors, by nature, ask a lot of questions. These guys ask a lot of stupid questions on top of that.
My boss is also trying to tak some time off starting this Thursday, lasting through to the Monday following Thanksgiving. I am trying to take next week off and also the Monday following Thanksgiving. So I’m busy trying to get everything done related to budgets and anything else that needs doing by Friday.

Oh! I thought you might be already planning next year. Sounds like not fun, why can’t the auditor get their own info?

Did you know that if you use a bigger trash can you are psychologically more motivated to throw things out?
GROG Premium Member about 13 years ago
Luv Me, that’s what my boss said. Seems like they don’t want to do their own work.
