I’ll have flapjacks and DWFNC, thanks Citizen GROG!.
From Reference.com –
There are very few foods that start with the letter X. One is xiphias, which is swordfish. Another is xiphosuran, which is horseshoe crab. Also, you have xylocarp, and that is a hard fruit. Xigua is the Chinese word for watermelon. Finally, you have xanthan gum , which can be used as a stabilizer and thickening agent in foods such as yogurt.
Good Morning Citizen GROG! – A friend of mine who had lived in New York often went to the Italian area to eat. He saw a person order a soft shell crab sandwich. It was a whole crab between two pieces of bread. When he starting eating it a bunch of green slimy green goop came out all over everything. He decided not to order one for himself.
I meant to stop in to say hi again, but it has been snowing and blowing all day so I’m going to hibernate. Shouldn’t complain, I guess. It’s been a pretty easy winter so far.

Good Morning, serena & noicant
I had trouble with “X” as well. That’s why I stopped at W, even though I had “Y” & “Z” already figured out.

Way to go, Citizen Grog! Great menu!!!!!!
We just watched how they made Haggis the other day on Triple D…….yuck!!!!!!
So, in checking through your menu, I’ll have a Chocolate Omelet, with Maple Bacon on the side, with a small glass of Elderberry Wine, please.
We just had a lovely snow shower…….about 1/2 inch worth. More is supposedly on it’s way today and tomorrow. :)))

Montana Lady – Looks like a lot of snowing in Yellowstone right now!

Morning Sojo so if I add xanthan gum to a steak will it become a slab of meat?
George Arnold almost 13 years ago
Good Morning Plods – You could try it and let us know.
George Arnold almost 13 years ago
My choice would be xylocarp – a hard fruit.

Good morning, Montana Lady & Sojo
Montana Lady, I saw that show on haggis as well. I think only a true Scottsman would eat it. I am not one of them.
Sojo, I’ve never tried Swordfish, but I think I might be more inclined to go with the horseshoe crab – but not for breakfast.

I deleted and re-typed my comment so that the order would make more sense.

Napalm, please?
GROG Premium Member almost 13 years ago
It figures Ooops! that you would love the smell of napalm in the morning.
Ooops! Premium Member almost 13 years ago
I’ve never had napalm before, it sounds interesting.
GROG Premium Member almost 13 years ago
It was the only thing I could think of at 1AM. I’ve since made changes to the menu.
Ooops! Premium Member almost 13 years ago
But napalm is supposed to be really good for efficiently burning the walking dead.
Plods with ...™ almost 13 years ago
Um if you get napalm, Ooops, I’m filing for Canadian citizenship
GROG Premium Member almost 13 years ago
Is that far enough away, Plods?

Oh! A Flaming Napalm Ball Gun! That is what I need! Flying balls of flaming napalm are just the thing to destroy the walking dead.

Take Cover, Plods. I don’t know what the range of this thing is.

Good thing there’s a snow cover to the east
GROG Premium Member almost 13 years ago
You need some sort of napalm net.
GROG Premium Member almost 13 years ago
Well, I’m going to try to get some shut-eye and hope Ooops! doesn’t miss her target.
