HAL! Are you in there?

this happened to me in Mexico. I not only didn’t get my money, but I didn’t get my card back either.

Hey Cleokaya my wallet is mostly empty nowadays. I hate debit cards anyway.

The banks have a thousand ways to get into your pocket and wallet in unexpected ways.. All kinds of hidden charges and fees that you don’t expect.

I pay my credit cards in full every month. Hah! at least they don’t get me there with huge interest fees.

But my Discover card which was supposed to be a 5% gas cash back card is only paying about half that or mostly even less each month because some of the places I buy gas aren’t “approved” gas stations. Just fast food mini marts that also sell gas. Gas bought there doesn’t qualify for 5% cash back.

I have a debit card & I have never had a problem with it. I also.pay my credit card in full every month.

I use three credit cards for different things and pay them off every month and each one either gives me money back or air miles, so I am getting something back from them instead of them getting interest off of me.

I just keep taking money out until it won’t give me anymore and then I change my identity and start over.

But lo, the Lord Gates did give unto us MS-DOS, & we were freed us from the evil IBM.

Re: puppybreath, that’s why I shun the frumious BofA.

We pay our cards up every month and use the ATM card as needed. Never have any problems (knock on wood!!). Never knew that about HAL —>IBM. Thanks, MisngNOLA
